The CRJ-700 can seat up to 78 passengers in a four-abreast seating configuration. The -700 is stretched by nearly 19 feet compared to the -200 series and is offered in three different versions: the standard CRJ700, the CRJ700 ER and the CRJ700 LR. The standard version of the -700 has a maximum take-off weight of 72.750 pounds and a range of 1.434 nautical miles. The Extended Range (ER) version has a maximum take-off weight of 75.000 pounds a range of 1.732 nautical miles. The Long Range (LR) version of the -700 has a max take-off weight of 77.000 pounds and can fly up to 2.002 nautical miles.
The CRJ-700 is powered by two CF34-8C5B1 engines. These engines can produce up to 13.790 pounds of thrust at take-off and are identical to those installed on the -705 and -900 series. The CF34 was originally designed for the US army as it is one of the most efficient engines ever build.
The aircraft is available with an engine option that provides exceptional high-altitude, hot-weather airfield performance for increased payload and profitability.
